I made sure I'm using the latest Chrome for Windows 11, disabled all extensions, and restarted the browser, but still don't see any red error popups in the bottom right when loading the sample file "file_example_AVI_480_750kB.avi". I tested with both drag and drop and the file selection dialog. I'm not sure what is different in my case, but I'm not too worried about it. Berry hm, I just tried that and I got the error message in the bottom right corner of the screen.

I tested one of the sample AVI files linked below in the latest Chrome for Windows 11, but wasn't able to get the red popup error in your screenshot to show (I don't see any errors). I did make sure and refresh the frame extractor page, so I think I'm using the latest code.

I've noticed that most/all .avi files fail to load, as one example. Try testing file_example_AVI_480_750kB.avi here in Chrome for Windows: https://file-examples.com/index.php/sample-video-files/sample-avi-files-download/
In Firefox, I get a fairly clear error, but no clear error in Chrome for an unsupported file type.

Can you please provide a link to example video that doesn't load? I mostly use it for mp4 files I take with my phone and I was unaware of this issue. I would like to be able to test with something that also fails for you.
